We are only in February and the names keep rolling in for what has become the biggest event on the UK MX calendar. The promoters behind VMXdN Foxhill are proud to announce that they have another legend lining up on the gate in the plus 50 class on the August bank holiday weekend (22nd-26th).

Laurence Spence needs no introduction to many, however the younger generation may not be as familiar with the tough-as-nails Irishman, who after a lifetime of being involved, be it as a factory rider, mechanic, and motocross des nations team manager is still in love with the sport.

Laurence is best known as being on the infamous Factory Kawasaki Team Green squad spearheaded by Alec Wright through the 1980’s and into the 90’s. He has always been the most unaffected and down to earth guy you can imagine and at a time where some prima donnas started to emerge, he remained firmly grounded and was friendly and approachable to all.

Laurence will be lining alongside with old foes in Kurt Nicoll, as well as Rob Herring who have already been announced, but who else will be lining up in this hotly contested class? Will Alessio Chiodi, Doug Dubach and Keith Johnson be returning? Will we see the addition of Mike Brown to the class in 2024? Rest assured this class will be stacked with heavy hitters and is sure to be another highlight of the already packed race schedule and unforgettable weekend.
