Gabriel SS24 KTM’s Cas’ Valk’s second pre-season race of the year was the International Italian championship held at Mantova.

Cas had a good feeling in timed practice but wasn’t able to put together a completely clean lap; despite this, he had the 5th fastest time in his group.
Going into race one Cas didn’t get the best of starts and had a minor issue with his goggles on lap one. He regrouped and worked his way through the pack before a crash at the end of the moto cost him. He would finish 9th.
Race two saw a much better start and Cas was able to follow the leaders for most of the race, with a good feeling on the bike he finished 5th for 6th overall on the day.
Next up for the team is the Hawkstone International on February 25th.
